  • 2007

    Henrik Hjelte leaves his role as a senior consultant in Finance & IT to launch a startup in the emerging Web 2.0 sector. He soon brings on Alex Mizrahi as a second developer.

  • 2011

    Or Perelman is interviewed in a TechCrunch article about Bitcoin. The article mentions Safebit, a startup co-founded by Or that is developing a user-friendly wallet.

  • 2012

    In August, Alex writes on bitcointalk, "Coloring bitcoins is the sh**... Is anybody working on an implementation now?"

  • 2013

    Coindesk writes an article about colored coins, where Alex notes that "a clear path to monetize the colored coin infrastructure hasn&posa;t emerged yet".

  • 2014

    ChromaWay is founded by Henrik, Alex, and Or.

    ChromaWay teams up with Telia and Kairos Future to provide blockchain based solutions for the Swedish Land Registry.

    Postchain, the foundational idea behind Chromia, was announced atMoney2020 and used in the Swedish Land Registry project.

    ChromaWay is shortlisted for the Riksbank e-krona CBDC program.

  • 2019

    ChromaWay launches a blockchain based land registry pilot in cooperation with the Inter-American Development Bank.

  • 2022

    In response to an EBSI pre-commercial procurement, ChromaWay develops 'RBN eco', which becomes a finalist and leads to ongoing collaboration.
