ChromaWay is a leading blockchain pioneer, venture builder, and creator of the relational blockchain platform Chromia.
We began in 2012 with a simple yet bold idea: leverage Bitcoin's emerging power to pioneer new blockchain technologies. Our open-source project, "colored coins", spearheaded what would become the Web3 industry.
In 2014, two group members created Ethereum, and three of us created ChromaWay. We had the original developer and leader, but we also had different technical ideas and a customer who wanted the world's first stablecoin.
Our innovation path led us to integrate blockchain with relational databases, a mature and proven technology from the 1980s. This allowed us to develop Chromia and build more stable, efficient, and user-friendly applications. Over a decade later, ChromaWay challenges the status quo, driving toward a decentralized future where technology empowers the people.
